Meet Amanda M.

Veterinary Assistant & RVT Student ​

Amanda was born and raised in Dalemead Alberta and Graduated from Chestermere high school in 2016. Amanda worked as an assistant and started her student career at Highview animal Clinic doing mixed practice in 2021. She began her journey of becoming an RVT and is currently in school with Pennfoster starting in 2023! She then decided to join the the Creature Comforts Team in 2024. Amanda enjoys anything and everything to do with animals, but Equine being one of her particular favorites. On her spare time, Amanda enjoys to teamrope and rodeo!

Amanda has 5 cats, Mouse & Possum who she rescued at 2 days old and bottle fed that are now thriving at 3 months old. Roper and Tip who are her "favorite" kitties! And Bean, the new clinic cat! She also has 3 horses, Zip, Amaretto and Hondue. And 2 chocolate heelers that she raised, Hitch and Hooey!

 

Amanda looks forward to her future with the Creature Comforts team, and all the amazing patients & clients!
